This is an assemblage I put together as if for a solo show, in a form of a temporary installation in my studio. The idea is not to use painting as a depiction method to produce an object to look upon, but like a tool to create a new image. In this case I consider the documentation material to be an art form in itself and the intention would be to switch from a physical visiting of the exhibition towards an online browsing of an image gallery, while controlling that the level of emotions that the viewer would get would stay the same.

Although the photos were taken in 2012, this is a recent development. I am often using personal photos as source images for my paintings and for all this time I have kept this material in my working folder to see what to do next with it. Several times I began making various new works, but I was not satisfied with the results.

This is the direction I finally choose. I used it before in another fictitious project called "The Presentation" in 2009. This time, it is even more typical for my general artistic approach like in introducing within the creative environment various household items and forcing a particular disturbance in the logic of space, perception and established notion of doing things.
